Well, the other day I went out and bought me a couple of main-jets, 140, 150 and 160. I removed the original from the carb and saw it was a 125. So I put the 140 in. What happened is I seemed to get better acc but top speed was decreased, and when I´m cruising at low rpm the bike runs un-even; it jerks a bit and and behaves a bit as when the gasoline is just about to run out. Responses to full-throttle is quite ok though. A tip from a dealer was to change the pilot-jet also. I will exchange the stock air-filter with a K&N hig-performance. I´ll have to make some sort of mounting-kit, probably some L-shaped tube, to be able to fit the new filter. Perhaps I'll also re-set my needle to a lower position - I´ve raised it as much as possible earlier, and removed the white spacer. It was running quite ok before I changed the main-jet, but I want a bit more power out of my bike, so that's why I´m fiddling around whith those carb mods. And of course - it a lot of fun. Riding the bike is just one half of the pleasure. Trying to make things better is the other half. Just a few lines of late-night thoughts from a swede.

Happy thumpin'
